About the role

Join our dedicated hospice team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) and bring comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families during life’s most important moments.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Change linens, wash laundry, clean living areas, and maintain a safe environment.
- Measure and report vital signs, intake & output, and observe/report health changes.
- Assist with feeding, hydration, ambulation, and patient positioning.
- Administer basic treatments such as enemas, heat/ice packs, and non-sterile dressings.
- Support medication adherence as directed by nurses or physicians.
- Prepare meals in accordance with dietary needs and assist with nourishment between meals.
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments or errands as needed.
- Provide care for pediatric patients or disabled family members when applicable.
- Document care and communicate effectively with the nursing team.
- Assist with post-mortem care as needed in hospice settings.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of an approved CNA program or HHA certification course.
- At least 1 year of direct care experience preferred (hospice or home care a plus).
- The ability to lift up to 75–100 pounds and stand or walk for prolonged periods.
- To pass any required pre-employment screenings and background checks.
