Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
About the Role
Human Touch Home Health is seeking compassionate, dependable, and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team serving patients throughout Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline County, and surrounding communities. As a Home Health CNA, you'll provide one-on-one care that allows patients to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. You'll have the opportunity to focus on the person in front of you and provide the compassionate care they deserve.
This role is personal. Helping someone get dressed, preparing a meal, ensuring safe mobility, or sitting down for a conversation when they need someone to listen—these moments matter.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
- Observe patients and report changes in condition to the supervising nurse
- Follow individualized plans of care
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time
- Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Requirements
- Active Virginia CNA Certification Required
- Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
- Dependable and committed to scheduled patient visits
- Compassionate and patient-centered
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work independently in patients' homes
- Previous Home Health or Personal Care Experience Preferred
