About the role

Florissant Valley Health & Rehab seeks compassionate and thoughtful Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. We partner with skilled nursing centers across three states to support a small but dedicated group of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Aids residents with range of motion exercises
• Moves residents to wheelchair or activity areas
• Ambulates residents for short distances within the facility
• Takes and records vital signs and food/fluid intake/output
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Communicates resident and family needs to the nursing team
• Reports changes in residents' clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Passes a state-issued CNA exam
• Valid CNA certification in Missouri
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
• Maintains a working email and phone number for employer communication
• Ability to react decisively and communicate effectively in emergency situations
