About the role
Our Nursing Assistants play a crucial role in our award-winning team at WellBridge of Fenton. We are Bronze Quality Award winners and our CNAs are more than just caregivers; they are friends and companions who build strong relationships with our patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living tasks such as eating meals and laying down for bed.
- Notice and report changes in mood and behavior to the clinical team.
- Document patient care using individualized care plans.
- Perform bathing, skin care, mouth care, shaving, and dressing.
- Monitor and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
- Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies.
- Report significant changes in routine or condition to the nursing team.
Requirements
- Completed approved Nursing Assistant training program.
- Current CNA certification from the State of Michigan.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Team player dedication to supporting the team and getting the job done.

Pay and Schedule
- Hourly wage starting at $19.00 - $21.50 per hour based on years of experience.
- Hero pay of $3.40 per hour.
- Shift premium of $1.00 per hour for 2nd shift.
- Yearly wage increases.
- Flexible scheduling options including 8-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, and availability for 2nd and 3rd shifts (afternoons and midnights).
