Certified Nurse Aide CNA - Days (Clarkston, MI)

As a key part of our clinical team, CNAs play a vital role in observing and reporting changes in mood and behavior that help identify potential medical issues.

Pay

Starting wage: $17.50 per hour plus:

• $3.40 per hour hero pay
• $1.00–$1.50 per hour shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts
• Yearly wage increases

Top rate: $22.40 per hour.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts available
• All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• Days and nights both needed

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans, including:
  • Bathing and activities of daily living (skin care, preventative/supportive care, mouth care, shaving, dressing)
  • Nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation
• Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies by encouraging continued well-being
• Observe and report significant changes in routine or condition to the nursing team
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors
• Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Nurse Assistant training program
• Current Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification from the State of Michigan
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care
• Team-oriented mindset and dedication to supporting colleagues
