About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This role requires strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor. You’ll play a key role in supporting our residents with daily care while working closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines.
• Maintain resident environment: change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked.
• Support mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record vital information: accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Assist with positioning: turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety.
• Encourage engagement: lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.

Requirements

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Can accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
• Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience.
• Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
