Certified Nurse Aide CNA - $22.55 per hour (South Lyon, MI)

About the role

They build relationships with our patients and families while providing assistance with activities of daily living. Our CNAs are uniquely positioned to notice changes in mood and behavior that help our clinical team recognize potential medical issues. As a fundamental and valuable component of our clinical nursing team, you will play a key role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans as a guide, including bathing, skin care, preventative and supportive care, routine mouth care, shaving, and dressing.
• Perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs (temperature, pulse, respiration), catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
• Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies by positively encouraging and promoting continued well-being.
• Observe and report significant changes in routine or patient condition to the nursing team.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive and healing environment.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved nurse aide training program with current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from the State of Michigan.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care (EPIC).
• Ability to work as a team player, dedicated to supporting colleagues and completing tasks efficiently.

Pay

• Starting wage: $19.15 per hour plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay (hazard pay), totaling $22.55 per hour.
