About the role

Our Nurse Assistants are more than just caregivers—they are friends and companions to our guests. They build relationships with our patients and families while providing assistance with activities of daily living. Our Nursing Assistants are uniquely positioned to notice changes in mood and behavior that help our clinical team recognize potential medical issues. As a fundamental and valuable component of our clinical nursing team, you will:

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving.
• Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans, including bathing, skin care, preventative and supportive care, mouth care, shaving, and dressing.
• Perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
• Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies by encouraging continued well-being.
• Observe and report significant changes in routine or condition to the nursing team.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program with a current Nursing Assistant (CNA) License certification from the State of Michigan.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
• Team-oriented mindset, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
• Must have Monday and Friday availability.

Pay

• Starting wage: $19.15 per hour.
• Earn up to $22.55 - $25.55 per hour depending on shift.
• $3.40 per hour Hero Pay.
• $3.00 per hour for 3rd shift.
• Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts – all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays.
• Full-time or part-time positions available, with days and nights shifts offered.
