What You'll Do

  • Ensure the well-being of residents through proper medication management.
  • Under supervision, administer prescribed medications to residents and perform other nursing assistant responsibilities including bathing, dressing and feeding residents, recording clinical measurements and assisting in examinations and treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administering medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Recording and documenting medication administration and resident responses.
  • Monitoring residents for any adverse reactions or side effects.
  • Collaborating with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication management.
  • Assisting with other resident care tasks as needed, following protocols and procedures.

Pay

Rate of Pay: USD $23.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.

Qualifications

  • Valid state certification as a Medication Technician (CNA-M).
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Dedication to upholding high standards of medication administration and resident care.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature.
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
