Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision
- Document medication administration and reasons for non-administration in the MAR
- Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols during medication delivery
- Participate in audits and report adverse reactions to supervisors
- Maintain medication supplies and uphold HIPAA confidentiality standards
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- One year related experience in a medical environment preferred
- Certified as a Medication Technician in the state within which services are provided
- Current CPR Certification
Qualifications
- Must be certified as a Medication Technician in the state within which services are provided and have current CPR Certification
Skills
We seek a dedicated individual who can demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to patient care. A background in healthcare or a related field is beneficial but not required.
