About the role
As a Certified Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in our care team, assisting with the administration of medications to our residents in accordance with their individualized care plans. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest level of care and comfort for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with our facility's policies and procedures
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' conditions or side effects
- Maintaining accurate records of medication administration and resident responses
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Providing direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and support with mobility and transfers
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents
Requirements
- Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification and active license in the state of Missouri
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Available to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
