Accel at Willow Bend in Plano, TX has opportunities for full-time Certified Medication Aides to join our team. A rewarding career awaits at a facility specializing in resident care, where you will administer oral and topical medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.

Responsibilities
- Administer medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
- Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
- Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
- Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
Requirements
- State certification as a Nurse Aide is required.
- State-approved medication administration certification.
- Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
- Highly developed observation skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Schedule
- Day: 6am to 2pm
- Evening: 2pm to 10pm
- Double Weekends
- PRN
