Certified Medication Aide - Full Time Days

About the Role

This position involves administering and documenting medications such as inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical treatments under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. The role also encompasses assisting residents with their physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs, providing holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following guidelines and document accurately.
• Support residents' overall well-being across multiple domains.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Provide direct resident care, medication administration, and support their comprehensive needs under supervision, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.

Requirements

• Must hold Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications.
• Completed a 48-hour Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Option to become a CNA within six months if not already certified.
