About the role
We are seeking a Trained Medication Aide to provide essential care in a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Administer and document medications including inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical treatments under supervision.
- Assist residents with their physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs, following guidance from the Charge Nurse.
Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA certification and successfully complete a 48-hour Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
- CNA certification or ability to obtain it within six months is necessary.
- State-approved TMA training is mandatory.
