Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

About the role

Join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.) and make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication for all assigned residents
• Assist with the daily care of residents, including:
  • Personal care, grooming, and hygiene
  • Housekeeping and laundering
  • Social interactions and meals
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed
• Document completed tasks, such as:
  • Daily shift report
  • Resident records
  • Negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicate clearly to other staff, including:
  • Urgent needs for the next shift
  • All concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrate the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with the required certifications for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) as mandated by state regulations.
