About the role
Join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.) and make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Administer medication for all assigned residents
- Assist with the daily care of residents, including:
- Personal care, grooming, and hygiene
- Housekeeping and laundering
- Social interactions and meals
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed
- Document completed tasks such as:
- Daily shift report
- Resident records
- Negotiated service agreement
- Confidentially communicate clearly to other staff, including:
- Urgent needs for the next shift
- All concerns to the Health Care Director
- Demonstrate the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Required certifications for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) as mandated by state regulations
