About the role
PRN (on-call) Are you looking for a rewarding career in Skilled Nursing? We are currently searching for Certified Medication Aides to join our friendly, caring and supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Nora Springs Care Center by providing medications, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education.
- Support residents' comfort and safety through knowledge, skills, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- An unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate.
- Successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification.
- One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but not required.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide compassionate care to residents.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
