Certified Medication Aide CMA
About the role
We are currently searching for Certified Medication Aides to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Harmony Waterloo. Responsibilities
- Ensure residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by providing medications as needed.
- Perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Observe changes in resident’s condition and report to appropriate staff members.
- Maintain a safe environment for residents.
- Provide education to residents and families regarding medication administration and health management.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- An unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate.
- Successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training.
- C.P.R. certification.
- One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but not required. We are willing to invest in the right candidate!

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
