Certified Medication Aide/CMA

About the role

Hillcrest Health Services is currently seeking Certified Medication Aides for their Senior Care Communities in the Omaha metro area. The positions are available at Hillcrest Millard, Hillcrest Shadow Lake, Hillcrest Country Estates, The Cottages, and Hillcrest Health & Rehab.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to the patients on assigned neighborhood.
• Observes and reports obvious physical and behavioral abnormalities to the nurse manager immediately.
• Responsible for documenting all patient care in POC and notifying the Nurse Manager of refusals of care or abnormalities in vital signs.
• Answering call lights promptly to determine patients' needs.
• Passing medications using the Five Rights.

Requirements

• An active CNA in the state of Nebraska (or willing to transfer your license to Nebraska).
• An active 40-hour medication aide in Nebraska.
• STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful).
• Focus on resident care and teamwork.

Pay

Starting at $18.00+ per hour based upon experience, certification, and education.
