Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe medication administration and compassionate daily care to residents in an indoor healthcare setting with occasional outdoor activities. This role emphasizes safety and proper resident care in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision, verifying resident identity and documenting accurately
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, meals, and mobility
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition
• Maintain thorough documentation and support resident safety and wellness
• Help with admission, discharge, and transfer processes
• Perform light housekeeping, answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CMA program and active certification
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., maneuver residents and wheelchairs, and follow safety procedures
