About the role
AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our family. The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to the physician’s orders and established policies and procedures, and to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Newly Certified Medication Aides (CMA) and walk-ins are always welcome.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Administer medications to residents following established protocols.
- Report and record medication administration accurately.
- Maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times.
Requirements
- Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Previous skilled nursing home experience.
