Certified Medication Aide CMA

AVIR Health Group is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for full-time positions.

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to the physician’s orders and established policies and procedures, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Report and record medication administration according to established policies.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality care.

Requirements

• Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing home is preferred.
