About the role
We are looking for Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to provide exceptional care to our residents. You will work under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. Our team of nursing care professionals and mentors—including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, and Administrator—will support you daily.
Responsibilities
- Pass medications to residents
- Perform routine tasks in patient care
- Assist residents in activities of daily living
- Document and chart care for each resident
- Provide care and compassion to foster residents' physical and emotional well-being
- Follow infection control procedures
- Protect residents’ rights
- Adhere to policies and standards
Requirements
- Certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
- A caring and loving personality and demeanor
- Ability to work your scheduled shift
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
