About the role
AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our family! The primary purpose of the position is to prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to the physician’s orders and established policies and procedures, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Newly certified CMAs and walk‑ins are always welcome.
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications according to physician’s orders and established policies.
- Administer medications to residents.
- Report and record medication administration accurately.
- Maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Previous skilled nursing home experience.
