About the role
Prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to the physician’s orders and established policies and procedures. Ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Administer medications to residents following established protocols.
- Report and record medication administration accurately.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality care.
Requirements
- Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions.
- Previous skilled nursing home experience.
