Certified Medical Assistant Wellness Care

About the role

Must be willing to travel between two wellness sites: Zionsville Wellness Center and Heritage Wellness Center.

Responsibilities

• Aid providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms.
• Streamline clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories in patient charts.
• Transcribe provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring all diagnoses and follow-up instructions are documented with high precision.
• Manage essential administrative duties, including medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management to ensure seamless clinic daily operations.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• MEDICAL ASSISTANT obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Preferences

• MA Certification
• 1 year physician office experience
• Phlebotomy experience

Pay

Commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday 8:30am-5pm, Tuesday 6am-12pm/1pm-6pm, Wednesday 7:30am-1:30pm, Thursday 6am-2pm, Friday 6am-1pm
