How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Coordinate seamless patient visits by preparing treatment environments and conducting initial screenings to ensure every individual feels welcomed and ready for care
- Capture the patient’s story by accurately documenting vital signs and care journeys, providing the medical team with the high-quality data needed for precise clinical decisions
- Facilitate essential treatments by transcribing and processing orders for labs and imaging, ensuring patients receive the follow-up services they need without delay
- Support the clinical flow by managing front-of-house communications and maintaining medical supplies so the care team can remain focused on the patient
Minimum Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Medical Assistant: obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Approved credentialing bodies include, but may not be limited to: American Medical Technologists, National Healthcare Assoc, National Center for Competency Testing, National Assoc for Health Professionals and American Assoc of Medical Assistants.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences
- Must be willing to work Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm
- Medical Assistant certification prior to application
- 1+ years of Women’s Health Medical Assistant experience
- Must be willing to travel 1–2 days per week to outreach locations
