About the role
Location: Austin, TX | Facility: Lamar Bldg | Department/Specialty: OBGyn
Schedule: Full Time | Day Shift | Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
How you'll make an impact in this role
- Lead the clinical flow by preparing exam rooms and prioritizing patient transitions to ensure a seamless, stress-free experience for both the provider and the patient.
- Capture the patient's story by accurately measuring vital signs and interviewing patients to ensure the care team has a clear, real-time clinical picture before every consultation.
- Master clinical documentation by transcribing diagnoses, orders, and follow-up instructions into the patient record, ensuring the accuracy of the care journey from start to finish.
- Optimize the care environment by managing essential supplies and materials, ensuring the team is always equipped to provide uninterrupted patient care.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Medical Assistant credentialed from one of the following obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted):
- National Healthcareer Association
- National Association for Health Professionals
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
