Responsibilities
- Support Medical Providers and Radiologic Technologists
- Manage patient care, including patient care management, organization, and communication
- Complete tasks accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner
- Coordinate provider referrals to assigned Specialists
- Answer patient questions and keep them informed of their status
- Prepare patients for examinations, including conducting interviews, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit
- Conduct point of care tests and provide patient information to providers
- Stock supplies and maintain exam rooms, front desk, and reception areas
- Complete order sheets to maintain supply inventory levels and check expiration dates on supplies
- Complete opening and closing duties, including cashing out, end-of-day communication, and securing the building
- Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed
- Perform courtesy call-backs for patient follow-up
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program required
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Front Desk experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- One of the following certifications required at the time of hire:
- CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (verified through NHA)
- CMA- Certified Medical Assistant (verified through AAMA)
- RMA- Registered Medical Assistant (verified through AMT)
- NCMA- National Certified Medical Assistant (verified through NCCT)
- NRCMA- Nationally Registered Medical Assistant (verified through the National Association for Health Professionals)
- In lieu of an approved MA Certification, we will also accept the following certifications at the time of hire:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or LPN/RN
- EMT - Emergency Medical Technician (verified through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians)
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Benefits
Monthly incentive pay based on performance metrics. Sign on bonus up to $2,000 (for eligible applicants).
Pay
Minimum hourly rate starts at $17/hour and is commensurate with experience.
