Certified Medical Assistant Family Practice

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Required: Completed a Medical Assistant training program OR Medical Assistant Training Program equivalency
• Preferred: At least 6 months experience in Certified Medical Assistant role OR proof of completion of on-the-job training/education program for certified medical assisting in another healthcare organization
• Licensure/Certification: Current certification by ONE of the following approved certifying agencies: AAMA, AMT, AAH, NCCT, NHA, NAHP
• Experience: Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with electronic health records or phlebotomy
• Preferred: BLS through the American Heart Association if working in the Rural Health Clinic setting

Pay

Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. Expected pay range is $20.41 - $24.01/hour.
