Certified Medical Assistant (CMA|RMA) w/X-Ray required - Summit Express Clinics

Summit Express Clinics is seeking an experienced Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) with X-Ray certification to join our team.

About the role

This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations and procedures according to physician preferences.
• Record vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, height, and weight.
• Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and holter monitor applications.
• Assist physicians with procedures, administer medications, and conduct patient education.
• Handle phone nursing duties, including triaging, pre-certs, referrals, and calling in prescriptions.
• Perform clerical duties to support physicians, such as contacting patients regarding test results.
• Pull and prepare patient records for physician review.
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
• Maintain stocked, neat, and clean exam rooms and common work areas daily.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA).
• Follow site-specific protocols and maintain professionalism with coworkers and the public.
• Maintain strict confidentiality internally and externally.
• Participate in site-level Quality Improvement Activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or administrative staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or college credits preferred.
• At least six months of experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification or LPN TN license required.
• State of TN X-Ray license required.

Schedule

Full-time, 12-hour shifts.
