Certified Medical Assistant (CMA|RMA) w/X-Ray required (12 hour shifts) - Summit Express Clinics

Full-time opportunity with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations and procedures according to physician preferences.
• Record vital signs of patients, including pulse, blood pressure, height, and weight.
• Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and holter monitors.
• Assist physicians with procedures, administer medications, and conduct patient education.
• Handle phone nursing duties, including triaging, pre-certs, referrals, calling in prescriptions, etc.
• Perform clerical duties to support physicians in seeing patients; contact patients regarding test results or other related reasons as directed.
• Pull and prepare patient records for physicians as needed.
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently using clinical time slots.
• Maintain stocked, neat, and clean exam rooms and common work areas daily.
• Adhere to established company policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA).
• Follow site-specific protocols and expectations.
• Perform duties professionally while exhibiting courtesy and cooperation with coworkers, management, and the public.
• Maintain strict confidentiality internally and externally.
• Actively participate in site-level Quality Improvement Activities, contributing to performance evaluations and implementation of improvement measures.
• Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor, Site Manager, physician, or Administrative staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or college credits preferred.
• At least six months of experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification or LPN TN license required.
• State of TN X-Ray license required.
