Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, prepare patients, collect vital signs, assist with exams and procedures, perform EKGs, wound dressings, phlebotomy, and medication administration (non-IV).
  • Support clinical documentation, patient scheduling, referrals, and billing inquiries.
  • Ensure a safe, clean environment following infection control protocols.
  • Facilitate patient communication, reinforce education, and assist with inventory and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in quality improvement and support new staff orientation.
  • Obtain and document patient visit information, assist with examinations, perform laboratory procedures, support clinical and administrative tasks, and ensure timely patient flow.
  • Maintain accurate records using electronic medical records and support a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • CMA or RMA certification from recognized governing bodies (NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc.) preferred.
  • Ability to perform clinical tasks and support patient needs efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
