Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN

About the role

Cleaver Medical Group is a dynamic dermatology practice located in the Cumming area. We specialize in Mohs surgery and provide general dermatology and dermatological surgery services. Our practice operates in a fast-paced environment and values multitasking and organization.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Managing patient flow and triage
• Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures
• Documentation in EHR
• Scribing for physicians
• Assessing and responding to prescription refill requests
• Preparing exam rooms for office visits and surgical procedures
• Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls appropriately
• Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions
• Maintaining a professional attitude and attire at all times
• Bilingual a plus

Requirements

• Medical Assisting certification or LPN license
• Experience in dermatology (significant experience in other specialties, especially family practice, will be considered)
• Endlessly positive attitude
• Detail-oriented
• Computer savvy and technology-friendly

Qualifications

• 2 years Certified Medical Assistant experience (preferred)
• 2 years LPN experience (preferred)
