Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN

About the role

Cleaver Medical Group is a dynamic dermatology practice in the Cumming area with over 3 years of service. We specialize in Mohs surgery and provide general dermatology and dermatological surgery services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Managing patient flow and triage
• Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures
• Documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Scribing for physicians
• Assessing and responding to prescription refill requests
• Preparing exam rooms for office visits and surgical procedures
• Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls
• Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions
• Maintaining a professional attitude and attire
• Bilingual skills are preferred

Requirements

• Medical Assisting certification or LPN license
• Experience in dermatology (considered for those with significant experience in other specialties, especially family practice)
• Endlessly positive attitude and detail-oriented
• Computer savvy and technology-friendly

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
• 2 years of experience as an LPN (preferred)

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
