Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN

About the role

Cleaver Medical Group is a dynamic dermatology practice in the Cumming area, specializing in Mohs surgery, general dermatology, and dermatological surgery. We operate in a fast-paced environment and seek a detail-oriented Medical Assistant or LPN with exceptional multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Managing patient flow and triage
• Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures
• Documentation in EHR and scribing for physicians
• Assessing and responding to prescription refill requests
• Preparing exam rooms for office visits and surgical procedures
• Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls appropriately
• Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions
• Maintaining a professional attitude and attire at all times

Requirements

• Medical Assisting certification or LPN license
• Experience in dermatology (significant experience in other specialties, especially family practice, will be considered)
• Endlessly positive attitude and detail-oriented
• Computer savvy and technology-friendly
• Bilingual is a plus

Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN.
