• Zone 2: Banks, Barrow, Clarke, Columbia, Dawson, Elbert, Forsyth, Franklin, Greene, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Jackson, Lumpkin, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union, Walton, White.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, provide basic patient care.
• Work with patients/clients to develop daily living skills.
• May take vital signs.
• Support emergency response efforts by being ready for rapid deployment within 24‑48 hours during critical situations.

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant certificate to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Minimum of 1 year of MA experience.
• BLS Certification.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Strength to push and pull, and to stand for long periods.

Schedule

The department shall determine the shifts to be worked and does not guarantee any minimum number of shifts or hours. Shift assignments may include 8‑12 hour shifts based on department need. Shifts are based solely on staffing needs at the shelter and not on supplier staff preferences.
