Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Role: Certified Medical Assistant responsible for delivering quality patient care in collaboration with physicians, within medical assisting scope and guidelines. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and provide excellent customer service with respectful communication.Review and update patient health records, ensuring accuracy of diagnostic tests, reports, and medical information.Measure vital signs such as pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height.Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and assist during patient visits.Perform clerical duties including checking inventory, tracking referrals, and answering phones.Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, supporting departmental functions as needed. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED; active Medical Assisting certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NCMA, or NCCT).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required at hire.One year of healthcare experience or two years of clerical experience in a physician's office (preferred).Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in basic computer skills and ability to engage professionally with staff and patients.
