The posted compensation range of $22.51 - $31.79 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Job Requirements
- High School Graduate General Studies
- High School GED General Studies
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or
- Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, or
- Certified Medical Assistant NHA, or
- National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, or
- National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, or
- Registered Medical Assistant AMT, or
- Registered Medical Assistant, or
- Cert Med Asst - MMCI,
- AHA Basic Life Support - CPR, within 90 days of hire
Preferred
- Medical Assistant experience
Job Description
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical knowledge, technological fluency, genuine compassion for patient well-being, and an adaptable spirit keen on continuous learning and collaborative teamwork.
Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.
May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topically, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.
May perform routine tests including but not limited to EKG’s.
Qualifications
High School Graduate General Studies
High School GED General Studies
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or
Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, or
Certified Medical Assistant NHA, or
National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, or
National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, or
Registered Medical Assistant AMT, or
Registered Medical Assistant, or
Cert Med Asst - MMCI,
AHA Basic Life Support - CPR, within 90 days of hire
