Responsibilities
Performs direct patient care duties as assigned.
Triage and rooming of patients.
Provides for patient safety.
Possesses the ability to perform day to day clerical tasks and related duties.
Participates in ongoing educational activities.
Completes assigned goals.
Specifications
- Experience: Minimum required - 1 year experience.
- Education: Minimum required - Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
- Skills: Communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format; writing legibly and recording information accurately.
- Training: Approved nursing or medical assistant course preferred.
- Special Skills: Computer literacy; phlebotomy experience.
- Licensure: Certified by an approved accredited certification body or certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date; BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
