About the role

The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Services are delivered across the continuum in a quality, cost-effective, and patient-centered manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Treatment Planning & Care: Implements treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, revises goals with patient input, provides education, discharge instructions, and referrals.
• Patient Assessment: Collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans, considering patient and family input.
• Documentation: Maintains accurate records of evaluations, plans of care, treatments, and education per departmental guidelines.
• Professional & Ethical Standards: Upholds high ethical standards, maintains confidentiality, punctuality, and adheres to dress code and infection control policies.
• Customer Service & Teamwork: Demonstrates excellent communication, applies AIDET principles, fosters teamwork, and ensures positive patient and staff interactions.
• Professional Development: Engages in ongoing education, completes required competencies, and participates in training and orientation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS certification.
• Effective communication, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills.
