Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

CVHCare, a leader in Home Health Clinical services, headquartered in beautiful San Ramon, CA, is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our Home Health Care Agency in San Ramon, CA. This is an opportunity to work with an established leader in the California home health industry, where passion and team spirit are nurtured and rewarded. The position serves Area #9 (including San Francisco and/or Area #10 covering San Mateo, Brisbane, Burlingame, Daly City, Redwood City, Hillsborough, Millbrae, Colma, South San Francisco, Pacifica, Belmont, San Bruno, Half Moon Bay) and is not a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities under supervision of a licensed/certified clinician.
• Check temperature, pulse, and respiration rates; assist with exercises or repetitive routines as prescribed.
• Assist with getting in and out of bed, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, ambulatory transfers, and light housekeeping.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
• Minimum one (1) year checking vitals and reporting/documenting on clinical charts.
• Home Health Aide Training and California Home Health Aide Certification.
• CPR Certification.
• General knowledge and understanding of clinical verbiage.
• Strong attention to detail for chart documentation.
• Excellent time management/calendaring skills and ability to deliver documentation timely.
• Strong experience using computers and computer systems (Microsoft Suite, Gmail Suite or other systems).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Schedule

Part‑time: 24 = 18 RVEs per week or Per Diem (12 visits per week). Non‑traditional schedules available (e.g., Thursday‑Monday).
