About the role
Provide one-on-one care to adult clients in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
- Ambulation and transfers
- Use of mechanical lift devices
- Range of motion exercises
- Vital sign monitoring
- Home management tasks (laundry, meal preparation, bed making)
- Medication assistance
Requirements
- Current CHHA license in good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing
- At least one year of experience as a companion or CHHA
Training programs available for certification or CNA conversion.
