Certified Hand Therapist (PT/OT) - Outpatient

About the Role

Responsible for delivering safe and effective hand and upper extremity therapy by conducting evaluations and treatments tailored to patient needs. Collaborates with clients and healthcare team members to achieve therapeutic goals.

Provides comprehensive rehabilitation services, including hand therapy, splinting, wheelchair and home safety assessments, cognitive, neurological, and oncology rehab. Therapists manage patient care from evaluation to discharge, fostering teamwork and individualized treatment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and treatments for hand and upper extremity therapy.
• Collaborate with clients and healthcare team members to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Provide splinting, wheelchair and home safety assessments, and cognitive, neurological, and oncology rehabilitation services.
• Manage patient care from evaluation to discharge.

Requirements

• Current unencumbered Oregon Physical or Occupational Therapy license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

Physical Demands

Involves frequent or occasional lifting, crawling, climbing, reaching, and pushing. Requires manual dexterity tasks. Regular physical activities include standing, sitting, bending, and carrying.
