Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) – Occupational Therapist $30K Sign-On Bonus

About the role

This busy outpatient clinic primarily treats orthopedic cases and serves a wide range of patients and diagnoses. We have a large, collaborative team with diverse experience and treatment approaches. We are seeking a skilled therapist to join our hand therapy team and manage a full caseload of hand therapy patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan of care, and treat patients with upper extremity disorders.
• Communicate effectively with facilities and clients.
• Maintain positive interactions with facilities and their staff.
• Stay current with occupational therapy research and apply evidence-based practice.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
• Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Work collaboratively with the regional hand therapy coordinator.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy.
• Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy.
• National registration and state licensure or registration required.
• Previous demonstrated marketing experience.
• Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic.
• CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license.

Skills

• Custom splinting skills.
• Knowledge of Evidence Based Practice.

Pay

$90,000 and up, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday - Friday.
