Certified Ford Transmission Technician

About the Role

Quirk Auto is seeking an experienced Certified Ford Transmission Technician for our busy Service Department. This is an opportunity to begin or advance your career at a leading dealership group with motivated individuals who have a passion for success.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, and air conditioning.
• Perform transmission inspections, repairs, rebuilds, replacements, and adjustments.
• Use diagnostic equipment and special service tools to test vehicle components.
• Test-drive vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification.
• Provide the Service Advisor with estimates for any additional repairs needed.
• Stay current with Ford technical bulletins, recalls, service procedures, and new technology.
• Manage and organize work time and work-related activities efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive repair, particularly with Ford transmissions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Diesel experience preferred.
• Previous experience and certifications are recommended.

$35.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience.
