Certified Dietary Manager | INTERIM
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Dietary Manager to join our team at Bethany Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
About the role
As a Dietary Manager, you will plan, direct, control, and supervise functions and personnel within the dietary department. You will safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents to maintain and enhance their overall health. The role ensures the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and supervise dietary department functions and personnel.
- Provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents to support their health and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations for food service and nutrition care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) certification highly preferred.
- Prior dietary supervisory experience in a long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisted living (AL), or memory care (MC) setting required.
- Certification in food safety, as required by state regulations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
- Passion for working with seniors and a flexible, energetic personality.
