Responsibilities

• Plan and manage dietary services, including food ordering, preparation, and delivery.

• Interview residents and families to gather dietary preferences and needs.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

• Supervise food preparation, staffing, and ensure quality control.

• Monitor food storage and preparation areas for compliance with health and sanitation regulations.

• Implement and maintain procedures for department equipment usage.

• Attend in-service education programs to stay updated on facility and industry requirements.

Requirements

• Registered Dietician, Certified Dietary Manager, Diet Technician, or equivalent certification.

• Experience managing a dietary department, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to handle stressful situations and provide compassionate care.

• Compliance with facility policies and resident rights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
