Job Responsibilities As the Certified Dietary Manager, you'll oversee the daily dining operation while partnering closely with the Food Service Director to ensure exceptional service, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You'll: Lead, coach, and develop culinary and dining team membersFoster a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and resident satisfactionEnsure meals are prepared and served safely while maintaining the highest quality standardsMaintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and company food safety regulationsAssist with staffing, scheduling, training, and performance managementMonitor food, labor, and inventory costs while supporting financial goalsPartner with community leadership to continuously improve the resident dining experienceMaintain sanitation standards and ensure survey readinessSupport operational excellence through inventory management, purchasing, and quality assuranceHelp create a welcoming dining environment where residents genuinely enjoy every meal Qualifications Required Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credentialAt least 1 year of leadership experience in food service, healthcare, senior living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospitalityKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirementsStrong leadership, coaching, and communication skillsAbility to lead by example in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare diningExperience with budgeting, inventory, labor management, and cost controlsExperience preparing for state surveys and maintaining regulatory compliance About Aramark Our Mission Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
