Certified Diabetes Patient Educator (Virtual Remote) -West

Job Responsibilities

• Provide education about specific diabetes treatments
• Offer resources to help patients better begin and manage their diabetes
• Offer resources associated with their prescribed medication

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or BSN
• 3+ years as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
• Complete understanding and application of principles, practices, and standards in diabetes care directly with patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, or other relevant certifications that are Healthcare related
• Contact Center Experience using a telephony platform
• Motivational Interviewing experience
• Bilingual (fluency in Spanish and English)

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-8:00 PM ET. Schedule flexibility is required based on business needs.

Pay

The potential base pay range for this role is $102,000 - $113,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
